B5R sequence with altered Cys140 to Ser
The B5R protein altered by site mutagenesis can be important for proper protein folding. The Cys140 does not form disulfide bridges. However, recombinant protein can be folded improperly due to the close presence of this Cys to another Cys residue. Thus, we suggested changing this site on the pET+B5R construct that our team prepared (BBa_K4389000).
